Pin Basting

I have to say that I had a very relaxing hour this afternoon pin basting my Fall tablerunner. I was also trying to decide what type of quilting would look best on it. Still don't know for sure.
I probably wouldn't be "as relaxed" if it was a queen/king size quilt......

I have not tried the spray baste.....anyone have pros or cons on the product??

Fusible Batting by Hobbs. Forget the spray. This stuff makes all three lyers stick together like a smores. It is THE BEST! I only make small projects and this batting is my "right hand man". No ins, no sprays, just a hit iron and you are ready to go. Try it, you will love it! B=)

BTW, I LOVE the runner, and Sandy is my sister's name. =)

On small projects it is also easy to use just a cheap hair spray.....just enough stickiness to hold all of it together...but fusible batting is great for small things, too.

I've used spray basting and I love it. I haven't pin basted in ages! But I want to try the fusible batting too one of these days.

I really like spray basting my project together- the only problem is that if you do it in the house, you tend to get sticky stuff on the floor, so I put newspaper around the edges to protect the floor.
