Vickie had made a really cute St. Patricks Day tablerunner and shared her pattern on her blog. She also offered for sale a couple of kits made up of her leftover fabric. I decided that I needed something for the "green day", so I contacted her to purchase one. In our emails we realized that we were only about a 1/2 hour from each other and decided to meet for the exchange instead of paying postage.
It was really nice to meet Vickie and know that we share the same interests! Her and I in front of some of our favorite things.
I added to my 30's stash and my new "green" kit.

And you didn't have to wait! What luck.
Isn't this sunshine wonderful? I didn't know Vickie lived that close to us. Glad you had a chance to meet up with her, and do a little shopping too! :0)
What fun to meet up with her. Having just met a blogging friend this week, I know how happy you must have felt!

I will try my comment again!!!
I am "sew" jealous! Vickie is one of my best quilting buds! We both used to live there.........I moved to TN. That was a sad day for me. Anyway, glad you both enjoyed meeting and going to Country Charm.
