I have not felt like sewing lately and it bothers me. Could have something to do with the bursitis in my left shoulder and the infected big toe that I am nursing lately....both a separate Drs. visit. I am feeling better, so I guess I am running out of excuses. I did clean up my sewing room and organize. Don't have before pics....this is a section after organizing.
My cutting table was still a mess from Christmas and now it is clean and ready for cutting!
I did cut out the last three 12 Days of Christmas BOM that I am behind in, but no sewing yet. I need to get my mojo back. Maybe going to quilt guild tonight will help....it usually does! Reading all of the great ideas on blogs out there is inspiring also! Some of you gals, especially the ones with young children, really make good use of your time! When I was working and my kids were at home, I did too. Go figure, I have lots of time now that I am retired and waste too much....could be I know that there is always tomorrow! ;o)

Oh, aren't they a lovely splash of colour. Could do with a few to brighten it up here at the moment.
Hope you feel fully better soon, then before you know it, the sewing mojo will be back
Beautiful pictures! In spite of the dreary cold and snow, I do love looking out at the bright red cardinals sitting in our trees. Hope you get your mojo back...I know what you mean. It always bothers me when I don't feel like sewing...it's kind of a barometer with me. It helps me to visit my local quilt shop and read blogs too, and eventually, the mojo does come back! Hugs!
Sometimes it's good to just clean and organize...then you're all ready for the next project. Hope you feel better soon.
sounds like you have the winter blah's.... I get them too!
I just love the cardinals...I have never lived where they live and I always appreciate how beautiful they are.....
Its that time of year I'm afraid. We all seem a little down. If the sun us shining then its too cold to go for a walk and if its overcast who wants too.
I hope you are up and sewing in no time.
the cardinals are so striking aganist the gray skies. I've the done same - cut the BOMS ahead of time. I'm actually cut up to block 6. Pop over and see. :)
Love the new header. I also am ready for Spring.
I think that's what's gotten to me this winter is how drab and dull it's been. There's a red barn across the road from our house and the other day I was thinking how glad I am that it's there because it brightens the view up a bit! Love your cardinals! :0)
Love the pics of the cardinals - they are so vivid! Sometimes the sewing/quilting mojo leaves for a while, especially in the blah part of winter.....but don't worry, it will come back when it is good and ready and refreshed.
Love your new header how was guild last night?
Sandy I know just where you are coming from with the time bit...I used to do wonders when I had kids and working ... now all the time in the world and find my self wandering from one job to another.
Love the cardinals when we lived in Ohio I used to watch them ... also the blue jays loved their antics
My MoJo is coming back and I lost it for a year when it came to patchwork I am now beginning to look at magazines and becoming inthused.... but embroidery stayed with me so had a fall back. Hugs Laurie
