Shopping

Saturday was a great shopping day with good friends! Nine of us met up at Country Fabrics in Shiloh. About an hours drive, but well worth it for the inventory and the price! Plus, they were having a 10% off everything in the store sale! I usually don't buy yardage unless it is for a backing or background for piecing. They had Fandango and I have been waiting for that line, so yardage I bought!

I can't remember the name of this line by Michael Miller, but the bold turquoise caught my eye and I could see a bag/purse with these fabrics.....again, yardage!

I don't have any batiks in my stash.....maybe a few FQ's. I found a pattern for a Fall leaf tablerunner (actually Sandy did) and thought, yes that would look great on my dining room table. Again some yardage.

Their prices were great on pre-cuts also. Pure by Sweetwater for Moda was a line I admired, so let's get some of that too! Now to make that sewing machine hum!

Oliver's 3rd birthday was great last Tuesday and he got the gift that he asked for the most. Buzz Lightyear with all the bells and whistles! Big sister, Mia, saved her money and bought it for him! A couple of the older grands know how to save their money if they really want something.....hope this way continues into adulthood....love you guys!!

I can hear him going "phew" like the laser beam in that picture, lol...I like that Michael Miller fabric pattern, do they have it in a pink and brown combo? I think that color combo would make a really, really cute purse! :-) (hint, hint)--Sitting here thinking about this I realize Christmas is right around the corner!! Huh... ;-)
