Steamy Quilt Show

Saturday hubby and I went to Wellington to see a quilt show/elk farm! Yes, that is correct...it is a working elk farm where they have special shows also. It is called Bonnie Brae Elk Farm. I would have enjoyed myself a lot more if the weather would have been just down a notch from "unbearable"! If you look at the blue sky, you wouldn't believe that the temp was 92 degrees and the humidity was right up there also.

We only stayed about an hour. The quilts were really beautiful. The vending was really sparse...our local shop was there though!

Hubby is a good sport about going places like this with me. He takes his newspaper or in this case walked around with me. When we drove into the entrance and had to pay admission, the girl asked him if he "lost a bet" because he was there with me. He got a kick out of that!

Hi Sandy. Thanks for stopping by and entering my giveaway. I love all those beautiful quilts. Is it me or do those quilts look even prettier hanging on a barn?

Have a wonderful week. Hugs...Tracy :)

Looks lovely but me and the heat we have been having do not get along well. Maybe if they have one next year and the weather is nicer I can go.

Such a beautiful display of quilts. Quilt and Elk--A new trend? Enjoy the upcoming coolers day. We deserve a break.

I missed last year's show and Emily and I were thinking of going this year but it was just too hot to drive that far and then walk around in the heat! LOL We're both looking forward to going back to Columbus next year! :0)

The quilts look great.
Did you enjoy the elks or was it too hot for them?
